Chanel will launch a new fragrance for men, Bleu de Chanel on August 19th in France.
Designed by perfumer Jacques Polge, Bleu de Chanel is named after
a Chanel cologne of the 1930’s. Considered a woody aromatic, the fragrance
will feature notes of the notes feature pink peppercorn, citrus, peppermint,
nutmeg, vetiver, grapefruit, cedar, labdanum, jasmine, incense, patchouli,
ginger and sandalwood.
Chanel has produced a sixty second film to promote the new scent featuring
French actor Gaspard Ulliel and model Ingrid Schram, directed by Martin Scorsese.
Chanel Bleu de Chanel will be available in 50ml and 100ml.

Jennifer Lopez will launch her 16th fragrance called ‘Love and Glamour‘
in October of 2010. Love and Glamour perfume will debut at Macy’s in
October and elsewhere by mid-November. Love and Glamour was created
with Honorine Blanc and Harry Fremont of Firmenich. Notes feature Italian
mandarin, guava, nectarine pulp, heart of water lily, coconut orchid,
jasmine petals and orange flower absolute, sandalwood, amber
and musk.
Love and Glamour fragrance limited edition will be available
in 1.7 oz 2.5 oz and Eau de Parfum and complimenting body lotion.
L’Occitane launches a new limited edition Verbena scent for summer, Summer Secert. The refreshing Eau de Toilette,
features notes of green apple, anise
Verbena absolute, mint, basil,
cedar and musk.
L’Occitane Summer Secret fragrance is available in 100 ml Eau deToilette,
250 ml Shower Gel and 250 ml Moisturizing Body Gel.
Tous has launched Tous Man Sport following the popular 2004 release,
Tous Man. Developed by perfumer Vincent Schaller, Tous Man Sport
features notes of ginger, apple, verbena, cashmere musk, oakmoss
and atlas cedar. Tous Man Sport is available in 50 ml and
100 ml Eau de Toilette
Since last year’s launch of the Poppy line, Coach now aims to extend
its reach with a Poppy scent. Due in stores this July, the fruity floral
fragrance features notes of cucumber flower, mandarin, freesia,
jasmine, pink water lily, creme brulee accord, cedarwood,
bleached sandalwood vanilla and marshmallow. WWD reports that
unlike Coach’s previous fragrance launches, Poppy won’t preview
exclusively at the brand’s boutiques. Instead, it is due to roll out at
department stores for a broader distribution.
Coach Poppy will be available in 50 ml Eau de Parfum,
a purse spray and body lotion.

In July, Kylie Minogue will launch Pink Sparkle said to be inspired by pink champagne. Pink Sparkle features notes of pink grapefruit, lily of the valley, white peach, champagne accord, gardenia, jasmine, musk, vetiver and vanilla.
Kylie Minogue Pink Sparkle will be available in 15 and 30 ml Eau de Toilette, 200ml shower gel, 200ml body lotion and 75 ml deodorant spray.
Van Cleef & Arpels Oriens perfume, created by perfumer Bernard Eliena,
is considered a “fruity floral chypre.” It features notes of
black currant, raspberry, mandarin, praline, jasmine, fresh cut white flowers
and patchouli.
Van Cleef & Arpels Oriens is available in 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum
and matching body lotion.
House of Caron have launched a new version of their 1990 fragrance,
Parfum Sacré called Parfum Sacré Intense. This perfume edition is said
to accentuate spicy notes and features a blend of Pepper, Coriander,
Cinnamon, Jasmine, Orange, Clove, Rose Mimosa, Myrrh, Vanilla and Musk.
The flacon is dark purple and crystal embellished with a golden topper.
It is available in 30 ml Eau de Parfum.
Additionally, Caron have also launched a hair mist scented
with Parfum Sacré called Brume Sacrée.
Dolce & Gabbana’s newest launch set for September 2010 is
Dolce & Gabbana The One Gentleman cologne. As with the original 2008 version
of The One, the face for The One Gentleman is actor
Matthew McConaughey and features notes of pepper, lavender, fennel,
cardamom, vanilla and patchouli.
Dolce & Gabbana The One Gentleman will be available in
30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette. The new fragrance will also offer
an aftershave lotion, an aftershave balm, shower gel and deodorant stick .
Lolita Lempicka has launched a reinterpreted version of the 2001
Lolita Lempicka au Masculin men’s cologne. Featuring a fresher version of
the original, L’Eau au Masculin blends notes of lemon, pink pepper, verbena,
violet-wood accord, jasmine , olive wood, vetiver and musk.
Lolita Lempicka L’Eau au Masculin men’s cologne is available in
50 ml and 100 ml Eau de Toilette.
