| Paris based Cacharel was founded by Jean Bouquet in 1964.
The name "Cacharel" is that of a bird native to Southern
France and chosen to exemplify beauty and grace.
Originally working as a tailor and designer, Bouquet
commissioned L'Oreal to create a perfume for his brand.
Anais Anais launched in 1978 to great acclaim. Numerous
perfumes followed : Cacharel pour l'Homme, Loulou,
Eden, Loulou Blue, Eau d'Eden, Noa, Nemo, Gloria, Amor
Amor,Amor Amor Eau Fraiche, Noa Fleur, Noa Perle, Promesse
and Amor pour homme. The latest perfume to be launched is
"Liberté", an orange chypre with fresh citrus top notes and
base note of patchouli. Cacharel will launch its newest
creation, "Scarlett" in July 2009. The notes include tea
leaves, citrus, pear,orange blossom honeysuckle, jasmine,
sandalwood and white musk. |
