| Christian Audigier is a newcomer in the perfume world, having
begun as a designer working with the likes of Von Dutch,
Diesel, Guess, American Outfitters, Bisou Bisou, Levis and
others. He recently obtained the rights to Ed Hardy, as well as
designed his own namesake brand. In 2008, Audigier
introduced Ed Hardy perfume editions for men and women.
Primarily catering to the younger generation – or those still
clinging to their “rock ‘n roll” roots – Ed Hardy perfumes
feature fruity-floral scents with some bottles wildly decorated
in original Ed Hardy tattoo designs. For instance, the signature
perfume, Ed Hardy for women, combines a blend of apple,
mango, strawberry, grapefruit, freesia, watery muguet, linden
blossom, amber, musks, tonka bean, and vanilla pudding
scents – in a pink cylindrical container decorated with a tattoo
design of roses and skulls! The male cologne version of Ed
Hardy features an equally eye-catching design of a black
cylinder with a roaring tiger tattoo design, while the cologne
features a masculine blend of black amber, bergamot,
mandarin, clary sage, thuja, sequoia, and sensual musks.
